Keystone Kiters

Welcome to the online home of the Keystone Kiters. We are located in the central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) area. Members meet regulary to fly kite, learn new skills and techniques, and educate the public on kites and kite safety. Visitors are always welcome!

The Keystone Kiters are an affiliated club with the American Kitefliers Association, the national club with over 3000 members.

Our members enjoy all aspects of kites and kite flying. Many of our members are well known kite makers and artists. Others are involved in dual and quad lined sport kites.

Join us this August for a fun weekend of kite making. This years workshop will be held on August 6-8 2010. Kevin Shannon will teach us how to make a 50' serpent kite with an attractive color changing tail. Basic sewing skills will produce a striking kite in your choice of colors.
