Keystone Kiters

Welcome to the online home of the Keystone Kiters. We are located in the central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) area. Members meet regulary to fly kite, learn new skills and techniques, and educate the public on kites and kite safety. Visitors are always welcome!

The Keystone Kiters are an affiliated club with the American Kitefliers Association, the national club with over 3000 members.

Our members enjoy all aspects of kites and kite flying. Many of our members are well known kite makers and artists. Others are involved in dual and quad lined sport kites.

We're a little late in finalizing our Summer Retreat this year, but the wait was well worth it! Simon Crafts of Vanlue, Ohio is presenting his original design kite. This 8' beauty will become the jewel in your kite bag.

Join us at the end of August for a fun weekend of kite making. This years workshop will be held on August 27-28 2011. Simon Crafts will teach us how to make his interesting winged box kite.. Click HERE for more information.
